“Tell me Keith,” Matt jokingly asks the latest Hard Times Podcast guest, Circle Jerks and Off frontman Keith Morris. “Is it punk to spread coronavirus and not wear a mask?”
Keith describes his own health concerns and getting the Covid test (which he says is not as difficult as people are making it out to be). After talking healthy outdoor activities — skateboarding, yes; visiting the old folks’ home after a pub crawl, no — they get into the “whole new wave” of people who are “too good to wear a mask.”
“How difficult is it to wear a mask?” Keith sarcastically wonders.
Like a lot of us, he empathizes with people who want to be outside or back at work, but doesn’t have the patience for those choosing not to wear masks.
“Being a punk, you don’t have a bandana lying around?” Keith muses. “Being a punk you’re not smart enough to drive to the liquor store? Maybe you lucked out and your liquor store sells masks, because it’s not that ridiculous anymore.”
